Another great showing from the NiceTri club in the St.Neots Triathlon series with athletes competing in all three of the race distances on offer

Last weekend saw the latest of the NiceTri training trips, this time in Coalport, Shropshire which holds fond memories for many and painful ones for some.

 

A few arrived early on the Friday and foolishly had a quick ride in the rain but the hard training really got going appropriately in the pub with a few beers and some carb loading!! …

This weekend saw the biggest attended local Triathlon event of the year at Grafham Water, The Grafman.

The weather perked up from the previous days storms to see nearly 1000 athletes compete at this years event, again hosted by the brilliant 'NiceTri Events team'

Just minutes before the event started the BTF officials deemed the water too cold to complete the full 1.9km swim and…

On 7th of May 2017 we saw the 1st local Triathlon of the year held on Regatta Meadows and hosted by Nicetri events.

The sun came out nice and early, but was too late to make any impact on the water temparature, which for those that have not yet started their open water training found a tad chilly.

The races were held over three distances, Super Sprint, Sprint and Standard.

This week saw another battle of the Nicetri over 60's where Phil and Pat resume their challenge of World domination (well European this week)

Today saw some great racing in tricky damp conditions at the Thurleigh Autodrome.

Yet again the NiceTri club had some sterling results over several age group catagories that were keenly contested for places in the World championships to be held in Canada

Finishing 1st in the Age group 35-39 and 4th overall was Michael Taylor in a time of 0.56.06, Michael has really hit a rich vein…

This weekend saw the start of the Duathlon season for many of the Nicetri club members, The event held by Nicetri Events at Grafham water on what felt like a beautiful spring morning had some awesome results for the Club

The event was held over 2 distances, Sprint and Standard and was a non-drafting.

For the sprint distance race, a fantastic 2nd place overall and 1st in his age category…

Great to see the Winter rides back on the Nicetri agenda.

The last 2 weeks have seen many of the club getting out there in the cold damp conditions to get in the base winter miles, the new time of 10.30am seems to be a winner too.
